In pictures: Life on Dhaka roads at a standstill

Commuters in Dhaka are enduring untold suffering on Thursday as heavy traffic congestion brought roads in the capital to a standstill. 

The long tailback of vehicles is nothing new for the citizens since the educational institutions and offices opened in full scale following the lockdown amid the pandemic.

The tired citizens grew frustrated waiting on the roads due to the burgeoning heat of the summer.
