In pictures: A gray, rainy day in Dhaka

Cyclone Sitrang, which is expected to hit Bangladesh on Tuesday, triggered heavy rainfall in Dhaka since Monday morning.

The weather is colder than usual, and the sky has turned gray. However, the rainy weather has also caused traffic jams throughout the city. 

The rain may have provided some relief from the summer heat, but it has also caused flooding in low-lying streets.
