Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology (ADUST) has received approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) to set up and manage its permanent campus.
The university apex body gave ADUST the nod on Monday as the private university had fulfilled all conditions regarding setting up its permanent campus, said a media statement on Thursday.
ADUST is the fifth private university in the country to receive a permanent campus certificate from the authorities.
Since the establishment of ADUST in 2004, its authorities have been conducting the activities of the university by following all rules and regulations prescribed by the UGC.
The university constructed its permanent campus at Uttara, Dhaka, in 2017.
