The IBM-owned Weather.com powered app is yet to be fully functional, with android and iOS versions currently accessible while desktop versions are not yet out.
The app, as it stands, will provide an hour-by-hour forecast of the current day and a simplified version of the predicted weather for the upcoming week. If one clicks on the “see more weather info” link in the app, then they are redirected to a detailed forecast on Weather.com.

"We are doing this because our goal is to develop products that connect people to the things they care about most and create moments of joy in people’s day, like simply telling you that it's going to rain later," she said, as quoted by Mashable.com.
MashableAccording to the spokesperson, weather updates on the newsfeed of Facebook users, similar to those released last April, would begin this week while the desktop versions of the full app will roll out in March.
