Mercantile Bank Training Institute recently organized a day-long workshop on “Prevention of Money Laundering and Combating Financing against Terrorism” at its premises.
Officials from various branches and divisions participated in the workshop.
Mati Ul Hasan, the managing director of the bank, inaugurated the workshop.
In his address Matiul advised participating officers to strictly adhere to the AML and CFT guidelines in all areas of banking operations.
Shamim Ahmed, DMD and CAMLCO, delivered the welcome address at the inaugural session.
Mahmudul Ameen Masud, faculty member of the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) conducted a session at the program.
Javed Tariq, Principal of the training institute moderated the inaugural program and conducted sessions at the training.
