United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) held its 506th Meeting of the Board of Directors on Tuesday at the bank's corporate office.
UCB Chairman Sharif Zahir presided over the meeting.
Vice-Chairman of the board, Md Shazzad Hossoin; Executive Committee Chairman of the board, Md Tanvir Khan; Audit Committee Chairman of the board, Obaidur Rahman FCA; Risk Management Committee of the board, Md Yusuf Ali and Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid along with other senior officials were present among others at the meeting.
The board of UCB praised on the effective monetary policy announced by Bangladesh Bank.
Moreover, emphasize was given in the smooth practice of Banking rules and regulations and excellent customer service in face of the burning issue of recent irregularities and corruption in the banking arena.
