Mercantile Bank PLC organized the Risk Conference 2024 on Saturday.
Md Mezbaul Haque, executive director, Bangladesh Bank, inaugurated the conference as the chief guest.
Md Anwarul Haq, chairman of the Board and Mohammad Abdul Awal, chairman of Risk Management Committee spoke in the conference as guest of honour.
MA Khan Belal, chairman, Executive Committee, M Amanullah, sponsor director and Mati Ul Hasan, managing director of the bank spoke on the meeting as special guests.
Mahmuda Haque, joint director and Robin Chandra Paul, deputy director from DOS (Division-2) of Bangladesh Bank, conducted the session as resource persons. Md Zakir Hossain, DMD and CRO (acting) of the bank, delivered his welcome speech, and Md Nasim Alam, SVP and DCRO (acting) gave his vote of thanks.
Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed and Ashim Kumar Saha, DMDs, Shah Md Sohel Khurshid and Mohammad Iqbal Rezwan, SEVPs took part in the conference.
A total of 421 officials attended the conference virtually.
