The fifth meeting of the board of directors of the Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) for the term 2022 and 2023 was held on Tuesday, September 6, under the chairmanship of Md Rezaul Karim.
The meeting approved the minutes of the previous meeting and the accounts statement, reads a press release.
The meeting decided to hold a seminar on Mitigating Corruption for Economic Growth in the Maritime Sector of Bangladesh on Tuesday, September 13 which will be jointly organized by the Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB), the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) and the UN Global Compact in Bangladesh (GCNB).
It is expected that the State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, MP has kindly consented to grace the occasion as chief guest.
Senior Vice Chairman Md Ariful Ahsan; Vice Chairman AKM Aminul Mannan (Khokon) and Directors: Md Munir Hossain; Arzu Rahman Bhuiyan; Syed Md Bakhtiar; Md Nurussafa Babu; Ziaul Islam; Ganesh Chandra Saha, Ataur Rahman Khan and KM Arifuzzaman also attended the board meeting.
