Md Jashim Uddin, Chairman of the Bank and President of FBCCI, inaugurated the branch on Monday, March 21, said a press release.
Mahbubul Alam, vice chairman of the bank and president of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Md Shahabuddin, chairman of the executive committee of the bank; Joshoda Jibon Debnath and Md Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury, directors, also participated in the program.
Tarik Morshed, managing director and CEO of the bank, presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Other top officials, clients, businessmen, and local elites were also present on the occasion.
The ATM booth service was also launched at the same building on the day after the inauguration of the branch.
The official said: "The bank plans to open more branches and sub-branches soon in different parts of the country to expand its business network."
