The South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce Bank held a business development conference at a hotel in the capital on Saturday.
SBAC Bank Chairman Abdul Kadir Molla attended the conference as chief guest while its Chief Executive Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the meeting, reads a press release.
Vice-Chairman of the bank Al-Haj Mizanur Rahman, Director Mohammad Ayub, Engineer Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Mohammad Nawaz, Md Helaluddin and Anowar Hossain, Independent Director Prof Md Mokbul Hossain Bhuiyan, Shariah Supervisory Council’s Chairman Md Abdul Razzaque attended the event as chief guest.
Besides, the bank’s Additional Managing Director M Shamsul Arefit, Deputy Managing Director Md Altaf Hossain Bhuiyan and Mohammad Selim Chowdhury, along with divisional heads and branch managers attended the program.
In the conference, SBAC Bank said that by the end of 2021, the total deposit of the bank was Tk7,319 crore. It was Tk7,145 crore at the end of the previous year.
Meanwhile, the amount of loan stood at Tk6,540 crore, which was Tk5,740 crore at the end of 2020.
Moreover, after 2021, the profit of the bank stood at Tk210 crore, which was Tk152 crore a year earlier. The bank’s profit increased by Tk58 crore in a year, which is also 38%.
