Following the arrest of Evaly’s Managing Director and Chairperson Mohammad Rassel and his wife Shamima Nasrin, its employees have been told to work from home until further notice to "provide customers with the highest level of service."
The message was also posted on their official Facebook page on Saturday.
All activities of Evaly will continue as per the usual home office system, the notice read.
But according to an earlier post on Friday, their regular delivery operations were being delayed due to the absence of two of its main signatories, for which they were unable to pay supplier bills.

As a result, the platform announced that all future orders made under its T10 campaign will be categorized as requests from Saturday onwards.
The controversial platform’s head office at Dhanmondi was also found closed with locks hanging at the entrance door on the day.
According to a notice by the authorities hanging from the door, the offices will reopen after receiving permission and completion of the ongoing investigation.
Earlier on Thursday, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Evaly CEO Mohammad Rassel and his wife Evaly Chairman Shamima Nasrin after an hour-long drive at their Mohammadpur residence following an embezzlement case filed against them.
Both were placed on a 3-days remand.
Meanwhile, many customers and merchants had crowded in front of the platform’s office for owed products and money demanding the government to take radical steps in helping them recover their money; such as releasing the CEO and the chairperson.
