Cousin to the 'Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman', Mominul Haque Khoka died at 81, in Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Friday night.
Khoka, also a valiant freedom fighter, breathed his last breath at around 8:15pm in the hospital, according to his family members.
He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
The body of Khoka will be brought to Dhaka by a flight of Bangladesh Biman this evening, BSS reports. He will be buried at Banani graveyard after Zohr prayers on Sunday after namaz-e-janaza on Eidgah ground at Satmasjid road in the city.
