The by-elections of Narayanganj-5 constituency will be held on June 26.
Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad has announced the election schedule at a press conference at the Election Commission Secretariat on Monday afternoon.
As per the schedule, the last day of submitting nomination paper has been set for May 29 and the last day for withdrawal of candidature is on June 9.
The nomination papers will be scrutinised on June 1.
The constituency fell vacant with the death of Jatiya Party lawmaker Nasim Osman on April 30 last.
Nasim Osman, also Jatiya Party presidium member, died at a hospital in India at the age of 63.
