A BNP activist has been beaten to death by miscreants at Talsari village in Benapole.
The deceased was identified as Sayeed Ali, 50, an activist of BNP and a resident of Talsari village.
Miscreants beat up Sayeed at Talsari village on Sunday morning. He was rushed to Jessore Medical College Hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries around 6am on Monday.
Locals claimed that local Awami League activists Bishey, Firoj and Mashiar had beaten up Sayeed.
District BNP General Secretary Syed Saberul Haque Sabu confirmed the Dhaka Tribune about Sayeed's identity and incident.
