Police have arrested three Islami Chhatra Shibir activists in separate raids from different college hostels in Chittagong on Tuesday.
Of the detainees, two were held from Hazi Mohammad Mohsin Government College and one from Government Chittagong College in this afternoon.
Manzur Murshed, additional deputy commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police, has told the Dhaka Tribune.
On Monday, police arrested 21 Jamaat activists including its Chittagong city Ameer Shamsul Islam from their party office at city's Dewanji Pukur area under Kotwali thana.
Protesting the incident, Chittagong city unit Jamaat Islami called a daylong hartal in greater Chittagong on Wednesday.
