BNP standing committee member Goyeshwar Chandra Roy has been released from Kashimpur High Security Central Jail on Friday morning.
Jannatul Forhad, jailer of Kashimpur High Security Central Jail, said: “We received the documents of his bail around 8:15pm on Thursday. After examining the papers, he was freed at 10:40am this morning.”
Goyeshwar was sent to jail on Apr 20 in a case filed with Rampura police station in connection with violence and explosives.
He secured bail in the case on Wednesday.
