The recent drive in the residence of accused Nur Hossain by the law enforcing agencies as ‘merely eyewash’, BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said.
The BNP spokesperson was speaking at the party's mass hunger strike protesting the killing, abduction and forced disappearance at a National Press Club in the capital on Sunday morning.
He also denounced the government for obstructing the human chain that civil society member organised to protest abduction, disappearance and killing on Saturday.
Fakhrul said: “The government is fearing, so they are are launching attack whenever there is a protest.”
