The BNP will hold a discussion in the capital on Saturday to mark its 48th founding anniversary, with party Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman scheduled to attend.
The program will begin at 3pm at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh in Khamarbari.
BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi will chair the event, which will also be attended by central and Dhaka city-level leaders.
Party sources said preparations for the program have been completed.
The BNP announced the program on August 30.
