The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold protests and solidarity rallies across all major cities, including the capital Dhaka, on Thursday to express solidarity with the victims of the Gaza and Rafah massacres and the oppressed Palestinians.
The announcement was made through a press release signed by the party’s Joint Secretary for the Department of Information, Taiful Islam Tipu, on Wednesday.
According to the release, the rally in Dhaka will begin at 4pm from the central office of the party in Nayapaltan.
It will pass through Kakrail, Shantinagar, Malibaghnand Moghbazar before concluding at Banglamotor.
The release also mentions that similar rallies will be held in all other major cities on the same day.
BNP has called upon its leaders, activists from allied and affiliated organizations and the general public to participate in the protests and solidarity rally.
