Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina does not care about any visa policy or any foreign sanctions.

“Sheikh Hasina does not care about visa policy and a restriction, no matter how much BNP looks across the Atlantic,” said Quader while addressing an event marking the 76th founding anniversary of Chhatra League at Dhaka University.

"She is only afraid of God. She loves the people of Bangladesh," he said.

The country will run well if good people are elected, otherwise, misrule is inevitable, said Quader.

"Tarique Rahman has ordered the creation of panic by exploding bombs. The BNP has to be shown a red card forever,” he also said.

Chhatra League President Saddam Hussain presided over the function while General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan conducted it.

The program began with the hoisting of the national and party flags.

A cultural program was also held.

Later, a colourful procession was held with former and current leaders of the organization.
