Hamim Kefayet Falu, the president of a popular environmentalist organization of old Dhaka “Srot” has submitted a nomination form of Trinamool BNP to be a candidate for the upcoming 12th national parliamentary polls.
He sought nomination from Trinamool BNP's to be the candidate of Dhaka-7 constituency which consists of parts of Lalbagh, Chawkbazar, Bangshal and Kotwali thanas of Old Dhaka.
Falu submitted the nomination form to the party's office on Topkhana road along with local businessmen and dignitaries.
Hamim Kefayet Falu, a businessman and a media entrepreneur, has been creating public opinion to build a livable Old Dhaka for a long time.
Regarding the election contest, Falu said: “People want change. Both parties want new leadership outside. In that place Trinamool BNP has created new possibilities.”
