The decision was taken at a meeting held on Saturday, according to a press release sent by the party.
Reza, the convenor of the party was absent from the meeting he had called, even though other members were present amid a shortage of vehicles and adverse circumstances during the Eid holidays. Member Secretary Nurul Haque Nur moderated the meeting, it said.

Besides, considering the emergency situation to resolve the ongoing crisis within the party, its higher council and national council will be held on July 10. Joint Convener 1 Rashed Khan was appointed acting convener and Nurul Haque Nur will perform regular duties as usual, the release said.
