Jatiya Oikya Front to hold public hearing on February 24

The alliance is scheduled to hold a demonstration on February 6

Jatiya Oikya Front leaders and activists, on February 6, will wear black badges to protest the alleged theft of their votes in the 11th general polls; in front of the National Press Club, starting at 3pm.

The BNP chairperson’s Adviser, Abdus Salam, announced this while addressing the press at the Jatiya Oikya Front central office, in Dhaka on Monday.

“Jatiya Oikya Front will also arrange a public hearing on February 24 against the one-sided and unfair 11th parliamentary election,” he added.

He said: “We want another election because this government has failed to ensure a free and fair election.

"The national and international communities have also realized that no fair and free election is possible under this government.”
