BNP has nominated its mayoral candidates for the Rajshahi and Barisal city corporation elections, to be held on July 30.
However, the party is yet to pick its candidate for the Sylhet City Corporation polls, which will also be held on the same day.
BNP has picked current Rajshahi Mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul as its candidate for the second time; and for Barisal, it has nominated former mayor Mojibur Rahman Sarwar.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir made the announcement at a press briefing in the BNP chairperson's office in Gulshan, Dhaka on Sunday.
