Defence secretary calls on president

"During the meeting, the defence secretary apprised the President of the overall activities, especially the overall progress of the proposed Mithamoin Cantonment,"the President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin said to journalists after the meeting. The secretary also highlighted other development activities of the Ministry of Defence. Abdul Hamid expressed satisfaction over the overall activities of the ministry and asked to that all development activities be completed in line with the Forces Goal 2030. The President also asked the defence secretary to implement all earlier directives given by the government for the development of the Ministry of Defence.
