The government has appointed new secretaries to the ministries of information and broadcasting, commerce and Liberation War affairs.
In a notification on Sunday, the Public Administration Ministry said that Information and Broadcasting Secretary Khaja Miah has been transferred to the Liberation War Affairs Ministry.
Tapan Kanti Ghosh, the secretary to the Liberation War Affairs Ministry, has been made the commerce secretary while Md Mokbul Hossain, the registrar (additional secretary) of the Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms, was promoted to the secretary and assigned to the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.
