A wagon from the Lalmoni Express fell off the rails at the station around 8:45pm.
Station Master Ismail Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune no injuries had been reported in the incident so far.
Dhaka to North Bengal rail communication was snapped temporarily because of the incident.
