Former Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) Dr Md Abdur Razzaque died on Saturday while undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Specialized Hospital in Dhaka.
In a statement, the BARC family has expressed profound shock at the death of Dr Md Abdur Razzaque and extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
The council noted that the nation has lost a distinguished agricultural scientist and a visionary leader whose contributions significantly advanced the country’s agricultural research landscape.
The BARC community also prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul and for the strength of his family to navigate this irreparable loss.
