Police have detained two youths in Magura Sadar upazila for abducting and raping a girl with speech impairment.
The detainees are Shaon Sheikh, 25, and Tipu Sheikh, 30.
According to the case statement, the 16-year-old was walking on a road alone in Nalnagar village on Friday noon.
The accused took her to a nearby jute field and raped her.
Later, her family members found her injured when she returned home, according to the case statement.
Later, the family filed a case against the duo with Magura Sadar police station, said officer-in-charge Ayub Ali, adding that they were detained from the village on Monday.
The accused were later produced before a Magura court, which ordered their imprisonment.
