Ganatantra Mancha leaders here have called upon people to remain united being imbued with the spirit of the July mass uprising to confront any conspiracy and protect the motherland.
Ganatantra Mancha Rangpur unit organised a protest rally and procession against anti-Bangladesh conspiracy at Press Club premises on Monday where they made the call, a press release said on Tuesday.
Rangpur district unit coordinator of the Manch and JSD's district unit President Amin Uddin presided over the program.
Convener of Rangpur district unit of Ganosamhati Andolon Touhidur Rahman, its city unit organiser Abdul Jabbar, district unit convener of Nagorik Oikya Mahi Azad, GS of JSD Rangpur city unit ABM Mashiur Rahman, district unit coordinator of the State Reform Movement Professor Chinu Kabir, its member Advocate Raihan Kabir, among others, addressed.
The leaders strongly protested the recent anti-Bangladesh provocation in various Indian places, including attacks on the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Agartala and Kolkata.
They said that according to the Vienna Convention, it is the duty of every state to provide personal security to the embassy and its officials of any country.
