4 more suspected KNF members sent to jail

  • They were produced before the court

A Bandarban court has sent four more suspected members of the armed separatist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) to jail in connection with bank robbery, an attack on mosque, and looting of money and weapons.

Chief Judicial Magistrate's court Judge ASM Emran gave the order after they were produced before the court.

The arrestees are Lal Raubat Bom Prakash Apple, 27, Lal Lam Khar Bom Prakash Alam, 31, Mithusel Bom Prakash Amang, 25, Lal Ruat Lian Bum, 38.

Earlier they were arrested from the Lal Bridge area of ​​the district.

So far, 62 people, including the chief coordinator of the group, have been arrested by the joint forces.

They were later sent to jail in the nine cases filed over the incidents of April 2-5 in Ruma and Thanchi upazilas.
