Two friends were killed and another was injured following a collision between a motorcycle and a private car in Madhhupur of Tangail on Saturday.
The accident took place in Kakraid area in the afternoon.
The victims could not be identified immediately, Molla Azizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Madhupur police station, said.
The three friends went out on a motorcycle as part of their Eid celebration. When their motorcycle reached Kakraid area, it collided with the Mymensingh-bound private car, leaving one dead on the spot and two others injured.
Among the injured, another friend died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
The condition of the injured is critical, says the OC.
