A fertilizer-laden ship sunk in the Karnaphuli River in Chittagong late on Sunday.
Sadarghat river police station Officer-in-Charge Ekram Ullah said MV Maksuda 2 had gone under around 300 feet from Karnaphuli Ghat.
All 13 workers on board the anchored ship had survived the incident without any reported injuries, he added.
As of now, authorities are yet to ascertain the cause behind the sinking of the vessel, owned by Haji Shafi, president of the Lighterage Sramik Union of Chittagong.
