A 22-year-old activist of Chhatra League was killed by miscreants at Natun Rasta in Mirsharai upazila of Chittagong on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Jewel Raja from the Hadimusa area under ward 2 of Mithanala union.
Quoting local people, Mirsarai police station duty officer Al Amin said: “A group of miscreants stabbed Jewel and cut the tendons of his legs at 11:30pm, leaving him critically injured.”
Later, he was taken to Mirsarai Upazila Health Complex where the doctors declared him dead.
