Miscreants set a truck carrying sugar on fire at Lalpole in Feni Sadar upazila early Thursday.
The truck was set on fire on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway around 4am.
However, there were no casualties.
Wasi Azad, warehouse inspector of Feni Fire Service and Civil Defence Station, said: "We rushed to the spot and doused the fire at 4:20am. The front of the truck was burnt in the fire.”
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Feni Model Police Station Shahidul Islam Chowdhury said: “Police rushed to the spot and assisted the fire service to douse the blaze. Appropriate legal action will be taken in this regard.”
