The district administration has lifted the ban on the movement of tourist boats in Kaptai Lake of Rangamati after nine days.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Saiful Islam confirmed the matter on Monday.
"The ban on the movement of tourist boats has been lifted as there is no mountainous flow in the lake," he said.
Rangamati Launch Owners Association Vice-President Ramzan Ali said: "The district administration banned the movement of tourist boats in Kaptai Lake to avoid accidents due to heavy rains. The district administration lifted the ban after nine days."
