Khelafat Majlish Rangpur unit held its divisional gathering on Saturday at the Public Library ground with a handful of attendees.
Central leaders of the party became furious at the low turnout as there were only about 20 leaders on the stage and not more than 100 people in the crowd.
Khelafat Majlish Nayeb-e-Ameer Ahammed Ali Kasemi addressed the program as the chief guest and said the organization has an 8-point demand with the number one demand being polls under a neutral caretaker government. He said that the government will be forced to accept their demand.
He said that in the year 2023, the people want their voting rights back and they want to vote for their favourite candidates.
Those who will get the votes will come to power, he said criticizing the ruling Awami League.
