Two suspected robbers were killed in what is being described by the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) as a gunfight in Bhola on Sunday
The incident took place near Jalia canal of Char Kukri Mukri union early in the morning.
The elite police unit said they were yet to confirm the identities of the victims.
During a raid in the area, robbers opened fire on RAB members, forcing them to retaliate, said OC Md Shakhawat Hossain of the local South Aicha police station.
Some sharp weapons and firearms were found on the site of the shooting, reports UNB.
