The Fire Service And Civil Defence officially ended the rescue operation after recovering all the bodies, including of the groom, from a boat capsize in Patuakhali's Dashmina upazila's Tetulia River.
The fire service members recovered the bodies of three people in the morning and one in the afternoon on Sunday, said Rezwan Hossain, team leader of the rescue operation.
The recovered bodies are of groom Rabbi Howlader, 20, his mother Selina Akhtar, 40, Khadija, 5, and Mansura, 8.
On Friday afternoon, the body of Rabbi Howlader's cousin Lipi Begum, 30, was recovered.
Jahangir Ahmed, deputy assistant director of Patuakhali Fire Service and Civil Defence said on Sunday members of the diving team from Barisal also worked with their team from Patuakhali.
According to family members, the trawler was going to Auliapur Launch Ghat with the bride and groom after a wedding in the Char Shahjalal area on Friday.
On the way, the trawler sank due a nor'wester. Locals rescued nine people including the bride Suamaiya Aktar.
Dashmina Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Nafisa Naz Neera said that the government is providing financial support of Tk20,000 per person for funeral expenses.
