Nurjahan, 45, a resident of the area adjacent to Alipur Toll Plaza in Kalapara Upazila of Patuakhali, once worked in a garment factory in Dhaka to support her family. But now Nurjahan is fighting for life as both of her kidneys have got damaged. Her eyes are filled with the desire to survive—and her mouth is filled with the only desire, "Please save me."

She has been lying in bed with kidney failure for a long time. Her family has lost everything to pay for her treatment.

Her husband Monir Mandal is an auto-rickshaw puller, and despite working hard all day, he is no longer able to afford the cost of treatment.

Their last hope is on the kindness of people. The family has two children. The eldest son, 18, is studying at a madrasa and the younger daughter (14) is still studying. Now the only dream of the children is about their mother's survival. Now Nurjahan's condition is getting worse day by day.

Nurjahan's husband said in a tearful voice, "I have driven an auto-rickshaw all my life, I have never been hurt. But today, there is no other way but to extend a hand to people to save my wife."

Doctors have said that unless dialysis and treatment are started quickly, her life cannot be saved.

Therefore, her request to the wealthy, humane and kind people of the society - let's stand by Nurjahan's in her fight for life. Contact for humanitarian assistance: 01764-161378.
