The death toll from the explosion in a gas pipeline in Keraniganj rose to four as one more victim died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Panna Begum, 50.
Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (SHNIBPS) resident surgeon Dr Ayub Hossain said Panna had suffered 50% burn injuries on her body,
She died at around 5:30am on Monday while undergoing treatment in the ICU.
The body has been kept at the hospital morgue, said Inspector Md Bachchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.
On August 30, six members of a family suffered critical burn injuries in a fire in the gas pipeline of their house in the Jinjira area of Keraniganj.
Maria Akter, 8, succumbed to her burn injuries hours after she was brought to the hospital.
Shahadat, 20, and his grandmother Begum, 60. Succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital on Friday.
