A teenage boy, skating on the road, was run over and killed by a trolley in Bagmara Upazila of Rajshahi on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Ershad Ali, 15.
Mustaque Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Bagmara police station, said Ershad left his aunt’s house wearing skating shoes and headphones and got on the road around 7:30am.
A brick-laden trolley coming from the opposite direction ran over Ershad, leaving him dead on the spot.
The driver of the trolley fled after the accident.
A case was recorded with the police station in this connection, OC Mustaque said.
