A motorcyclist and the person riding pillion died after a lorry ran over them in Burichang upazila of Comilla on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Morshed, 22, and Anondo, 18.
Quoting witnesses, Mainamati Highway police station OC Belal Uddin Jahangir said the lorry rear-ended the Chittagong-bound motorcycle on the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway, leaving its two riders dead on the spot and fleeing the area.

The bodies of Morshed and Anondo would be handed over to their families after completing legal formalities, the police officer added.
