Armed Police Battalion (APBn) detained two Rohingyas with yaba tablets and weapons from Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar on Monday.
The detainees are– Arkan, 19, and Mahibullah, 38.
A 7.65mm foreign-made pistol, five rounds of ammunition and 4,000 pieces of yaba tablets were recovered from their possession.
Tariqul Islam, APBn-16 captain and superintendent of Police, confirmed the matter.
The arrests were made during a raid conducted in the B/3 block area of Teknaf Chakmarkul 21 camp on Sunday night, he said.
The arrestees have been handed over to Teknaf police.
