A 55-year-old crew member of a sand-laden vessel went missing after it sank following a collision with a launch in the Meghna river off the coast of Charkishoregnj in Munsiganj on Wednesday night.

The man was identified as Motaleb Miji, son of Rafijul Huq Miji, from Bhola.
