Perpetrators suspected to be members of Mog Liberation Party

Some armed men allegedly abducted a 40-year-old man after killing his wife in the Rajbila area of Bandarban Sadar upazila in the early hours of Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Singyanu Marma, 30 and the abducted man as Rethoai Marma.
Md Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Bandarban Sadar police station, said some five to six men barged into the couple’s home around 3am and tried to abduct Rethoai at gunpoint.
When his wife tried to stop them, the miscreants stabbed her to death.
Locals and police suspect the perpetrators are members of Mog Liberation Party (MLP).
