A decomposed body of a woman has been found near the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Feni, say police.
The identity of the victim, who was found late on Monday at Sharshadi union of the Sadar upazila, is yet to be confirmed.
“The victim probably died six-seven months ago. The hair on the head suggests that it is a woman,” said Feni model police station Officer-in-Charge Nizam Uddin.

According to Feni police, locals had found the body near a bush on the highway and reported to the police.
It was covered in a burqa and its hands and feet were tied up, police sources said.
The body has been sent to Feni General Hospital for autopsy, said the Feni police OC.
