Earlier on Friday, after 11 members of two families sustained burn injuries at the gas explosion in Fatullah, six of them were sent to the burn institute as their conditions were critical.
Four of them are still in hospital, while the other two were released earlier.
Fire officials suspected that there might’ve been a gas line leak at the flat or that its residents had failed to turn off the stoves before going to bed on Thursday night
As the gas accumulated in the rooms, when someone tried to turn on the stove, it exploded around 6am.
