Dense fog has temporary suspended ferry services along the Paturia-Daulatdia route again on Sunday morning.
While confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, BIWTC's Aricha Area Office Assistant Manager Mohiuddin Rasel said the ferry service were suspended from 10:45pm Sunday to avoid untoward incidents due to poor visibility.
He also said four ferries with passengers and vehicles remain anchored in the middle of Padma River due to dense fog.
Mohiuddin also added that the ferry service will be resume if the fog clears and visibility improves.
