Police on Thursday arrested a man on charges of raping three minor girls, all of whom are his tenants in Ashulia of Savar.
The suspect has been identified as Helal Uddin, 57, a landlord in Tyebpur of Ashulia in the outskirts of Dhaka, where the rapes took place on Tuesday.
Two of the girls are siblings and both are nine years old, while another is an eight year old.

On Tuesday, the nine year old siblings were in their house with their eight year old neighbour while the parents of the siblings went to their workplace in a garment factory. Helal got into the flat and raped the girls, according to police and the girls' family.
When the girls' parents came home from work they told them about the rape. Locals got to know of the incident on Thursday and called the police.
Ashulia police station Inspector Ziaul Islam said filing of a case in this regard is underway.
